1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the GetSetBae mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

2. Eligibility

To use GetSetBae, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a current employee of one of our approved tech companies.
• Be capable of forming a legally binding contract.
• Not be a person barred from using the App under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction.
• Not have been previously banned or removed from GetSetBae.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all of the above is true.

3. Workplace Verification

GetSetBae requires a one-time verification through your work email to confirm your employment at an approved company. By completing this verification:

• You confirm that you are a current employee at the company associated with your work email.
• You understand that your verified company name cannot be changed after verification.
• You understand that misrepresenting your employer or using someone else's work email is grounds for immediate and permanent account termination.
• You acknowledge that your work email is used solely for one-time verification and is not stored by GetSetBae after the verification process is complete.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password or authentication method you use to access the App and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@getsetbae.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Your Profile

• Your profile displays only your name initials to other users, not your full name.
• You are responsible for ensuring all information on your profile is accurate, current, and does not mislead other users.
• You are not permitted to use another person's photos or impersonate anyone.
• You are not permitted to post contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles) in your profile bio or photos for the purpose of circumventing the App's messaging features.

6. User Generated Content (UGC) & Conduct

Strict Zero Tolerance Policy:

• No Objectionable Content: You are not permitted to post content that is offensive, pornographic, abusive, threatening, or promotes hate speech or violence.
• No Harassment: You are not permitted to bully, harass, stalk, or intimidate other users, whether on or off the App.
• No Commercial Activity: You are not permitted to use the App to advertise, solicit, or promote any business, product, or service.
• Reporting & Blocking: We provide tools to block and report users who violate these Terms.
• Enforcement: We review reports within 24 hours. Any user found violating these Terms will have their account immediately and permanently suspended and their content removed.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose.
• Spam or solicit money from other users.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the App or collect user data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers.
• Create multiple accounts or create a new account after being banned.
• Share, screenshot, or distribute other users' profiles, photos, or conversations without their consent.

8. User Content License

You retain ownership of the content you post on GetSetBae (photos, bio, messages). However, by posting content on the App, you grant GetSetBae a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App's services. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.

9. Intellectual Property

GetSetBae, its logo, design, features, and all related content are the property of GetSetBae and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are not permitted to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written permission.

10. Hide from Coworker Feature

GetSetBae offers a feature that allows you to hide your profile from other users verified at the same company. While we make every reasonable effort to ensure this feature works as intended, we cannot guarantee absolute invisibility in all circumstances. Use of this feature is at your own discretion.

11. Safety Disclaimer

Important: GetSetBae does not conduct criminal background checks, identity verification beyond workplace email verification, or screening of users' personal histories. While we verify employment, we do not verify character, intentions, or background. You are solely responsible for your safety when interacting with other users, both on and off the App. GetSetBae is not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline. We encourage you to exercise caution and good judgment when communicating with or meeting other users.

12. Beta & Early Access

If you are using GetSetBae as part of a private beta or early access program:

• You acknowledge that the App may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features.
• You agree to keep your experience confidential and not share screenshots, profiles, or content from the App publicly without written permission.
• You understand that features may change, be added, or be removed without notice.
• Feedback you provide may be used by GetSetBae to improve the App without any obligation or compensation to you.

13. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

GetSetBae may offer premium features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. If you choose to make a purchase:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings.
• Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or for any reason we deem necessary to protect the safety and integrity of our community. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon deletion, your profile, matches, messages, and photos will be permanently removed.

15. Limitation of Liability

GetSetBae is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App or interactions with other users.
• Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid to GetSetBae in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We do not guarantee that you will find a match, a date, or a relationship through the App.

16. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with GetSetBae, you agree to first contact us at support@getsetbae.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved informally, both parties agree to resolve any claims through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if eligible. You agree to waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
